What is the definition of homesick. I guess what we have might not be considered homesickness, but somethings make you think of home more at sometimes than others.
Larry does wordsearch puzzles. I asked him the other evening "whose winning, you or the puzzle?" His response was just that the theme was Texas and the words just reminded him of home. Later that eveing we were going to bed, I was looking for something on TV to put me to sleep. MASH was on...again what we would turn on to lull me to sleep... again memories of home. Today I received a Mother's Day gift from Brody.....a charm bracelet of Texas, armadillo, yellow rose, the lone star.....
Not to beat a dead horse, but after 48 hours of continuous rain, enough is enough just another thing to have me yearn for Texas, and some of that humidity and heat.
But the brighter side...about 1:30 today the sun has finally come out and is expected through Saturday. I'm not putting my jacket away just yet.

Yeah, the weather this spring has been unusually rainy, and cold. I ready for it too warm-up and be sunny.
Lucky for you, you will have a lovely, mild summer ahead. Hopefully the sun will stay out for a while. :)
Hey, kids. Sounds like you may be getting a dose of the Washington overcast and rainy blues. Been there, done that. We miss you in Texas. Keep up the good work, and look forward to the nice summer you're about to have.
