From Stephenie Meyer's Twilight " It was beautiful, of course; I couldn't deny that. Everything was green: the trees, their trunks covered with moss, their branches hanging with a canopy of it, the ground covered with ferns. Even the air filtered down greenly through the leaves.
It was too green---an alien planet."
Yes it has been cold and wet again since the last post, but also warmth and sunshine (knock on wood) A week ago I replanted the vegetable garden and this week itsy bitsy green beans and corn appeared. Now if we can keep the slugs at bay we may have goodies in the future.
Larry recycled a deck and roof next to the 5th wheel. But having been recycled it leaked so bad everything was as wet as if it wasn't there. This weekend we added a blue tarp. It has created an additional living space for summer and a mud room for the rest of the year.
Between all the hard physical labor and cardio, Larry and I have developed some nice biceps. Larry has been riding his bike regularly, often with George or alone on the Centennial trail. I have started walking the trail behind him.
Memorial Day Larry smoked a pork butt and made his potato salad. We had Jodie and family come and share pulled pork with new friends Roger and Valerie Miller. It was nice to sit out and and enjoy the warm weather.....70's. But if it doesn't rain for a day or two I'm sure there will be talk of drought.

LOL about the drought! You seriously are in for a wonderful summer. Wait for everyone to start whining when it hits 85. It sounds like you guys are working hard and enjoying yourselves, despite the rain. That sounds like my kind of mission...maybe not Greg's though! Hope you're doing well. :)
