The Texas Rangers are in town

Monday we took a "P" day and went into Seattle. Baseball's Texas Rangers were playing the Mariners and it was half price night. This was too much for us to ignor. We left Cascade Park in the early afternoon to insure we could find our way to Safeco Field. And we did! We even managed to find a place to park for free. Then there was 4 hours to kill before game time. It was time to put our soles to the pavement. We walked to the Wamu building and our son-law George took us up to the 17th floor, what a view. Then to Pike's Place. Have you ever been fished?

Staff at the stadium were really nice to a couple of Texans, got us great seats, and pointed us to good stadium food. People behind us were from Utah....and a young man(with a few too many beers)from Texas. Sadly the Rangers lost.

This week Larry and I repaired one of the pavilions in the park. It feels good to get something accomplished. Tomorrow we have lots of campers scheduled to come in and volunteers to try and get this bathroom finished. One thing, there is always plently of work to do.
